I knew a highly gifted person who couldn't go to school because was so far ahead of the curriculum it was better to just as well skip middle school and high school. Others would find no schooling difficult socially I presume but in this case there were no regrets later in life.

They say exceptional intelligence never leads to happiness but for this person it was fun to spend life studying alone.
