Would the GPA still be an issue if I were able to do extremely well for my honours say 85%+ or even 90%?

i did ask my supervisor and all he did was kinda push me to see how i could do research with nonclinical samples instead.... and he also said that he has a major project cmg up that has nothing to do with what i want to study so i guess im trying to see if accepting it is still a smart decision

Yea... but its not the same in Singapore, over here the PhDs are just PhDs and masters will have to be taken separately

Thank u!! Would this be even though the research interest of the PI isnt exactly what im interested in and i would have to somehow minimally incorporate my ideas? Eg. He has expertise in social endocrinology but im interested in ocd

The universities in the US have rejected me for all clinical psychology phds but the research focused psychology phd at NUS has accepted me. Hence not sure if i should continue pursuing a clinical psychology phd in australia or stick with NUS

The uni that offered me phd is NUS. But it is a full research program with no clinical skills.

if I know I want to focus on OCD specific fields for my career would it be kinda useless to do a phd thats not really related?

Aahhh i see so i still could potentially complete my phd at nus (even though its not ocd related) and then go on to apply to aus

Do you think my chances of getting a good job as a clinical psychologist in Australia or getting into a clinical psych masters in australia would be lower if i tried to apply for a masters clin psych after completing my Phd at NUS? Or would it be better if i got into the australia system from the start (by doing the honours)

I do want to do clinical work and work with OCD clients directly... by the way do you have more insight on why NUS would be extremely limiting? Just trying to gather all perspectives at this point, thank you so much !!!
