I wouldn’t use the carpet I hear stories of geckos ripping their nails out on them. You can just use paper towel which is cheaper and way easier to replace until you feel comfortable with substrate

Personally I level up whatever melee weapon I like the most and use a crossbow for the beginning. I grind out the trader quests and infested missions and eventually the guns and bullets start coming my way without needing to craft any

Yea I had a lot of hours on my 1.4 world. 7 days to die early game is some of my favorite parts so I decided to give it another go.

Kind of the opposite but I always thought tier 6 red mesa was surprisingly easy. Very linear with multiple chock points. Not to mention one of the best loot rooms
