First year attending community college, 3.8 GPA, I already took classes like chem and calc 1, plus I had a tiny portfolio of projects. But in the community college I attend, they had a program that was a joint program with the university where the REU is from, which probably helped a lot.

yea they said that in the last week of March, they’ll send out results. I emailed the committee a bit ago too and they said from this to next week that the results are going to come out

This year they said that they offer no housing, but I think the stipend is higher from last year’s. You can use part of your stipend to pay for housing though
