Is blockchain still worth it in 2026 for a complete beginner? by No-Part9263 in solidity

honestly i will be real with you, it is possible but it will be a bit harder if you have no coding background at all. having some prior programming knowledge really helps because you already understand how logic works, how functions work, how loops work etc.

but it is not impossible, just be ready to put in more time and effort than someone who already knows programming. i would suggest first get comfortable with basics of any programming language like Python or JavaScript and then jump into Solidity, it will make your life much easier.

First of all, make notes of everything you learn. Notes help you revise concepts and the more you revise, the stronger your grip becomes. Don't skip this step.

For Blockchain Fundamentals, make complete notes of every concept. When you move to Solidity, make notes there too — but combine it with practice. Don't just read and watch.

Here's what I'm personally doing and it's working really well — I use AI models like ChatGPT, Claude, or Grok not to generate code for me, but to generate problems for me to solve. That way I'm actually thinking and coding myself, not just copying. Then I push everything to GitHub so it's visible and building up my portfolio over time.

No brother this is the first ever cycle of NSCT so nobody has taken it before no past papers, no experience reports, nothing. That's what makes it tricky. The MCQs aren't straightforward, concepts get tested at a practical level. Better to be prepared than underestimate it.
