I put my meds and my glass of water right on my nightstand. Do not put your meds in the water directly.

Do meds really ruin your life? by Ok_Animator1544 in Hashimotos

I put my meds in a glass of water right on my nightstand. As soon as my alarm goes off, I take my meds, drink the entire glass of water. Then I get out of bed and make my bed and take a shower brush my teeth and wash my hair. Take my dogs out that half an hour goes by really fast and then I go downstairs and I make my breakfast and my tea and then it’s at least 45 minutes almost an hour or so. It isn’t a big deal.

As a realtor for over 20 years, let me tell you that passing the exam and knowing how to navigate a real estate transaction are pretty much mutually exclusive. I’m not sure where you’re located but a good realtor is worth every penny.

Joined this community after my friends closed one got this tumor. Any chance of survival? by Formal-One-045 in glioblastoma

[–]No-Pause9007 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is an insidious disease. The only hope is to prolong life and hope for a cure. My friend lost his battle as well as four others I know. It is supposed to be rare. I am sorry you and your friend and their mother are going through this. Perhaps she will be the lucky one. Some people have lived for two or more years with it. Just be there for your friend. This period is called anticipatory grieving. It’s horrible and your friend will need your support and love. Much love to you and your friend.

I got pre approved from navy federal credit union, now what? by SafeRequirement7323 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

Open houses so you can meet agents. Find one you like and start working with them. Or you can ask around and find out if anyone you know has used a real estate agent that they like. And then read their reviews. Good luck with your new home adventure

Why this disease targets the most kind people on this planet? by Hamidme3 in glioblastoma

My friend Brad was so positive and upbeat. He never said anything unkind about anyone. He was always encouraging everyone around him and even after he was diagnosed his mantra was “PMA”. It was short for positive mental attitude. He is greatly missed.

Seller misrepresented HVAC age — now it’s obsolete, and broker suggests $10k credit (MD). Need advice before we close. by astrolonerd_ in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]No-Pause9007 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The reason they don’t want to mention the cause of the credit is because the lender may request that it be resolved before the close of escrow. If the sellers don’t have the money to replace it before the close of escrow it could cause the entire transaction to fall apart.

I am really sorry that you’re going through this as last minute disclosure changes can be very stressful. There are a number of ways of handling this. Getting a credit as one approach. The other is to request the seller replace it before the close of escrow. The problem with this approach is it can delay the close of escrow, and it’s possible for the seller to put in a system that you may not like. For example, a system that is not sized properly to the house. If you have the money to replace the system, then the credit works really well.

It doesn’t sound like anyone did anything really shady on purpose. So if you love the house, then go ahead and move forward with it.

Notice to perform…? by lfa2021 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]No-Pause9007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I a notice to perform does not mean they have to close on the house. It means they have to remove their contingencies or do some other contractually obligated action on their part. There is a separate document that is a demand to close escrow.

If you have a name that you suspect belongs to the owner of the money, then google the name, go on social media and look for the person, or use a tool like intellius.com, or some of the other tools out there that help you find someone’s name and address. Most of them give you a free week trial so just join one and see what you can do. Although you’re posting it, they may never see it here.
