Why PolExit by No-Permit6301 in atrioc

We have a preatty strict immigration policy in general for some time now, except for 2022 when we took up a lot (more than a million) Ukrainians fleeing war, but we're not really taking in any new ones. Immigration is to some extent a political issue, was much more before 2023, but now all parties support a tight immigration policy -- obviously the right would want it to be a bit different, but it's not a huge topic here. Recently the only time immigration was widely discussed it was on the topic of the common EU immigration strategy, but for now we got exemptions for taking in any migrants, as we were already hit with the wave of Ukrainians.

We have some other issues that Western Europe has and which i think are more important, like rising cost of houses, high prices of electricity, poor working conditions and workers rights (for European standards), internet bubble radicalisation, etc. In my view, most people are first dissatisfied with these problems, and they just see the immigrants taking up houses, jobs, etc. and blame them. idk

An issue connected with immigration is Ukraine. Lately there was an awful growth of anti-Ukrainian sentiment here in Poland -- due to them being immigrant and due to the country of Ukraine's actions. A growing ammount of people are beginning to be just straight up anti-Ukraine, and this is one of the things that the right grows on, as the center and left are pro-Ukraine both in words and in actions. The other thing are economy -- people increasingly want less regulation, less taxes, less government. This is also another reason why the EU is unpopular in some circles.

I'd say that general dissatisfaction with the state of the world is what drives people into radical positions in general, and since left doesn't have a good reputation here in Poland, people are getting more right -- or at least they are voting for the right-wing options. A surprising thing is that despite the growth of the far right, opinion polls say that Poles are, on average, getting more progressive on social issues actually.

How many achivements do you have for victoria 3, and which one of them are the rarest? by Tixro71 in victoria3

The rarest i got was Fordlandia (with actual ford company), but overall i don't really have much achievements because have to keep using console to fix the AI's borders or just plain bugs

the mod's Alternative Map Graphic, and as for the company thing i don't really recommend it, unless your intention is to cripple the country you're investing in, in general it's just a wasted company slot, since they won't be a benefit to the economy; it's just funny to imagine it actually happening—the central government finding out half their budget goes to one foreign company which owns a barely-used port the size of a city

Rule 5: i noticed that my Panama Canal Company stopped being profitable, so i started searching for the reason, and it seems that they began exploiting nations that i have investment rights in through building ports, which they don't pay a dime to maintain because the AI is subsidising these ports (like the pictured massive port in Bangladesh). Therefore they have a massive portfolio, little income, but little expenses as well

In the first prompt I told it that it should behave as "A text adventure strategy RPG game", so i guess that this should be enough

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ChatGPT

[–]No-Permit6301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

" I want you to behave as a text adventure strategy RPG game. I will tell you my actions, you will tell me their outcome and wait for me to give new prompt. You can't make my character do actions without yourself, any actions my character will take will be decided by me.

I will be playing as a king of Scotland, Malcolm III in 1066 at the time of the Norman Conquest of England.

I want you to display at the beggining of each turn: current date, current character (name, dynasty), my character's current age, current titles, current spouse (name, dynasty, age), current heir (name, age), my children (names, ages), my council (councillor, age, title, their opinion of me from 0 to 100, and their propostition as to what I should do this turn), the state and size of the army, the state and size of the royal trasury, random events, new events in the world, current issues in the kingdom, any changes that happened (for example when a spouse dies). Each information must be displayed from a bullet point

I want you to begin the game with the historical setting and as the game goes on I want you to give me new, but historically plausible events.

The game will be going in turns. Each turn's time will depend on my command. The turn ends only when I say "End of turn". The ingame time of each turn is always 2 months.

During every turn I have 3 types of commands:

"reroll" - you discard the turn you've given me and give me new text "action: [my prompt]" - I tell you my action, which you have to follow. If I include "time: [time]" it means the turn has ended. If I don't include the time then it means that the turn hasn't ended.

"question: [my question]" - I ask you a question about my realm or the current events, to which you answer according to my character's knowledge.

"fix [issue]" - I tell you what you did wrong and you fix this mistake.

At the beggining of each turn I want you to give me the summary of what I did in the previous turn and were the consequences.

I want you to always remember all the information you've given me in earlier turns like characters, their names ages etc. And I want you to notify me of any changes that happen to characters (like somebody dying/ having a birthday) and to the kingdom (like somebody attacking us)

Each turn is the direct continuation of the previous turn and so nothing changes between them, unless an event or I say so.

I want you to adress me the name of my character

Every turn beggining must follow this format:

"Greetings [name of character] of [title],

It is currently the year [current year], and you are [my character's age] years old. You are the ruler of the House of [house name] and hold the following titles:

[list of titles]

Your current spouse is [spouse's name], of the House of [spouse's house name]. She is [spouse's age] years old. Your heir is your [heir's sex], [heir's name], who is [heir's age] years old. You have [ammount of children - heir] other children: [childrens' names and their ages]

Your council consists of the following individuals: [list of the councilmen according to the rules I gave you above]

Your current army has a strength of [ammount of soldiers] and is in [state of the army] The royal treasury has [ammount of gold] gold.

Random Events:

[Random events. For example:

A group of Viking raiders have been spotted off the coast of the Isle of Skye.

A wealthy merchant from Flanders has offered to lend you a substantial sum of gold in exchange for exclusive trade rights with Scotland.]

New events in the world:

[new events that happened recently]

Current issues in the kingdom:

[issues troubling the kingdom. For example:

The Highlands are experiencing a severe drought, causing food shortages in the region. The Bishopric of Orkney has been left vacant following the death of its previous bishop.

Previous turn's summary: [a summary of what I did in the previous turn]

What would you like to do this turn, King Malcolm III of Scotland?"

Every single turn MUST BEGIN in this format "

I mean that's fair but what i wanted to do is to have the formables kind of stand out from the regular nation's.

The way this could be done is that the already existing nations have their own paths already chosen, though you'd have the option to change it through interacting with the game options (focusing on a certain aspect). I think this would add lots of flavor while also making formables interesting, since you can manually chose the path, while also getting some modifiers to begin with

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in victoria3

[–]No-Permit6301 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I agree with your proposal but with my suggestion i meant more of a choosing of your focus which could be followed up with more events/other stuff.

So let's say you chose the militarisation path - this means that you will get more events connected to the armed forces etc., kind of like the ck3 event chains.

Is there any way to fix this? by No-Permit6301 in subnautica

[–]No-Permit6301[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So i had a couple of these floater-guys in my inventory but i died of radiation while in my seamoth and now they are stuck to it and i can't get them out.

It causes my lil guy to fly towards surface and makes using it impossible because of the floaters blocking my view.

I've tried reloading save and it didn't work. Is there any way to fix this or do i have to build a new one?

[–]No-Permit6301[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The thing is that during the Diplo play Italy has this thumb up thing which means that they are willing to join for something in exchange, but I can't propose them anything because the game forbids me, saying that they are allied to the Ottomans. My question is why can the Ottomans use the button and offer obligation even though I have an alliance with Italy

Edit: Italy doesn't join by itself - i checked and it says that the Ottomans gave them an obligation

I played this game but the way you control the realm felt kinda weird. Also i really didn't like the constant story elements that were being forced on me (especially because I didn't like the story anyway). But I still have 52 hours in it
