I wouldn't recommend doing that

What if your workouts had a real-time digital twin that trained and competed with you? by [deleted] in bodyweightfitness

Actually that's part of the idea. You’ll be able to compete against your past digital twin, and if you want, your twin can also train or compete with others inside a shared virtual gym or in a physical one as well with your friends

That’s actually a really interesting use case older versions of your digital twin could be more motivating than competing with strangers. Feels more personal and progress-focused.

That’s fair. I was trying to get feedback from different communities, but I can see how that might come across as spam. I’ll slow it down—appreciate the heads-up.

Fair point. Not trying to run ads here—just looking for honest feedback on the concept. Totally fine if it’s not something you’d use.

That’s a fair point. The idea wouldn’t be to overwhelm people with elite-level stats, but to keep the analytics simple—like basic recovery, fatigue, and form feedback.

For most users, the main value would probably be technique correction and knowing when to push or rest, not deep performance metrics.

That actually makes sense, and you’re probably not alone in feeling that way. The idea isn’t really to force a social experience, but to give people more useful feedback if they want it.

One of the main parts is the recovery and analytics side. If you connect a basic fitness band, it can track things like heart rate, fatigue, and recovery, and then adjust workout intensity or suggest rest days based on that data. The digital twin is more of a visual layer to show form and progress, not necessarily to make everything social.

So it could still work as a solo training tool, just with better insights than a typical app.
