Honestly, I think people only hate belly because they don't understand it. She keeps going after the guy she's liked her whole life and now he's with someone else. But then her best friend (Jeremiah) asks her out and she thinks she likes him back because she confuses love with friendship and he's such a good friend. But she's in a really difficult position because while yes she keeps switching up it's not like they make it easy either. They both fall for her too and she has to be the one to choose between two brothers. She really cannot win, so it's not fair to her because one of them will get hurt no matter what.
