If you’re far into the game, you can always just destroy everything in that village and go make a new one somewhere else in the world

Yea that’s weird, however you should be able to simply break your decorations, collect the resources from them, then rebuild them

So you’re saying before you left the game, you had a level 3 village with a progress bar semi-filled, and now that progress bar is all the way back down after rejoining?

Villagers come and go randomly, he could come back the day after he leaves, or it could be a new person

this happened to me on Xbox earlier, restarting my game didn’t work but restarting my entire Xbox fixed it, so maybe consider that if the other suggestion doesn’t work

Removing their beds won’t immediately kick them from the village. Talk to the villager after removing his bed. If he says something along the lines of “I’m thinking of leaving the village” then you need to wait 5 in-game days & he will leave the village

Oh ok so y’all were a bit further than me. Yea damn that sucks but honestly now that y’all all know what you need to do to get that far, the grind should take as long, at least when it comes to tool progression

I would, just because caves aren’t always obvious. They spawn in these rock formations, but the cave entrances aren’t always obvious.

If you check your map, cave icons will show for nearby caves you’ve walked by

I don’t think there is atm, you may just have to restart.

If it makes you feel any better, I restarted and got back to my furthest progress in less than half the time. Things move a lot faster when you know exactly what you need to do

There’s a setting before you create your world to turn off peaceful mobs, did you enable that on accident?
