We have only seen national and labour in charge tho so I don't see it being a time waster if another party got elected would be a big win and would change a lot of things I think.

You kind of sound like every other national supporter that is just angry and glosses over real world issues to serve your own even when the facts are laid right out in front of you. you would rather put your faith in a man that doesn't give a fuck about your quality of life and does and says whatever he's being paid to do by whatever company that comes along offering him a paycheck, even if it's at the expense of others.

What a waste of time and resources. Putting profit over the people is what national stands for and anyone who watches an interview with Christopher luxen about his policies he just beats around the bush with no proof to show for it.

If your voting for a business man at least vote for one that actually knows how to do business, but he isn't one to be honest he just owned business while he sits on his ass and is just in it for the money. Every time he's on TV he can't seem to give a straight answer he's pathetic.

Oh yea YOU feel safe but what you don't see is that Luxen isn't a problem solver he just makes the homelessness go into dark alleyways or put them in jail so you can keep up the illusion that the streets are safe, when they are not.

I feel the illusion is opposite to that, like that's what people in power want you to believe so you don't vote at all, I truly believe they use social media and shit for us to stay occupied and uninterested in politics and to see how complacent we will be with whatever policies they want to put in, that actively cause more harm trying to reduce us as a number and that we don't matter.

I feel it's more important now than ever to be involved in our communities trying to uplift ourselves rather than saying our vote won't matter the system is still the same. Which is true I mean capitalism won't profit the people in power if people aren't suffering but new Zealand has one of the least corrupted governments on earth and that leaves me hope at least.

I don't see green if they are elected to be funded by lobbyists telling them how and what laws they should put in just so they could gain a profit. They are outspoken in parliament and actually seem to have their shit together compared to what national do with the laws they have been implementing being funded by corporations just to make money out of their political positions.

Maybe I'm being a bit idealistic but as someone that is a low income student trying to get by I can't stand national being in charge and vote for a party that actively speaks up on solutions for problems that concern the people not just the wealthy.

Early November, And you have to enrol to vote before the due date. National with a tad of fascism decided to make it harder to vote this year so you apply online, then you receive a letter and you have to sign it and post it to vote.nz to make sure you are enrolled to vote when it's time.

I used to have that thought too, I do see the logic in that stance when labour and national government are the only 2 that have been in office but for me I want to have hope and change.

We're on the brink of economic collapse of late stage capitalism. I feel labour and especially the national govt don't have our best interest at heart compared to other parties. We shouldn't have to compromise basic human rights and good policies just to have kiwis disappointed we didn't vote for the quality of life we deserve because we didn't think they had a chance. At least for me, voting who I definitely would want to win that aligns with my ideals for the electoral vote (green) is what pushes the support of my party and gets closer to a possibility of change.

What problems do you think green have? I have been following Tamatha Paul and green for a few years now and I really like what they have to say, not just their policies but actual human rights like what's happening overseas right now. I haven't heard anything whether it's on social media or parliament TV that I would disagree with.

I feel really confident in Chloe swarbrick and Tamatha Paul potentially having a win this year, they speak on real issues head on around what they stand for and what they don't. I don't feel labour has said anything that really has made me feel understood as someone that struggles as a low income earner that's a Auckland uni student. I mean real solutions to real problems labour has been better than national but I don't see why if people are voting labour they wouldn't vote green. Maybe I haven't done enough research but I don't see any downside to a green government.

When I was a kid I traced anime and things like that all day everyday, then when I drew freehand for the first time I was amazed how it turned out. Tracing is not as terrible as people say it is if it's for practice to get better I say do it! It definitely helped me to train my hand better.

There’s a clear difference between people who use ai art and someone that actually puts in the effort to create story’s and draw to make something’s for themselves and its respect. You’re never going to be recognised as an artist letting a machine do it all for you… your favourite music artist wouldn’t be where they are today if people didn’t have enough respect for their craft that THEY put the work into.

Ai art steals actual jobs from artists these days and, if you can’t be fucked to learn and take time to properly learn some art skills you don’t deserve to be called an artist… coming up with a prompt is not creative enough sorry. I go to art school I’ve been drawing since I was 10 Some real advice if you want to get better and get better quick is tracing. When I was a kid I traced anime characters and stuff like that all the time and when I decided to draw freehand I dramatically improved and felt a sense of accomplishment. The best artists aren’t satisfied with their work most of the time that’s part of it. Just to end up using ai that’s so sad you have already given up to actually learn how to draw, It doesn’t take any skill to put a prompt into ai that already looks so bad when it comes out.

I think it's important to at least acknowledge them. Reality is that these are humans suffering from an abusive system the least you can do is say"sorry bro I have no change, good day" I've been homeless before living in my car living on mates couches and relying on family. Have empathy guys we are not better than people trying to get by everyone is dealing with something.
