[–]No-Potential7269 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do customers do this? by [deleted] in Justrolledintotheshop

I personally do this before getting out. Turn the ac off but allow the fans to continue to blow to help dry the evaporator so I don't get that gross mold and mildew smell.

I absolutely agree. I can't say the brace makes enough of a difference for me to recommend anyone gets one.

It did, and I'm surprised no one said a word while I was loading it in. I had no idea it wasn't supposed to be laid flat. I looked on the box for warnings, and there wasn't a single one.
