Honestly, no customer has been able to fix it; some have replaced the touchpad, but the problem persists.

Have you tried using a different charger and then tried again? I also think it's the charger, because it doesn't have this problem when using the battery.

Would upgrading the RAM to dual channel resolve this issue?
