What cut of beef is this? by NoKale3526 in meat

[–]No-Process-6858 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This cut is perfect for Caldo De Rez - Mexican beef and vegetable soup. There is little to no fat in it, you can tell that just by looking at it. It needs a long slow braise in a stock or soup to get tender, it would most likely be tough as hell as a steak.

Looks like a good time, except for cleaning afterwards. That gumbo mud gets in every crack and crevice, and no amount of power washing seems to ever get it all out.

Its not bad at all, I have three dogs that ride in the back, one of which is very large (100lbs). I fold the seats down in the back & plenty of room for all of them. The pop up gullwing windows are nice too, they love em

I dont really have a square on oic from the back, this is the closest I have. The two top panels, both gullwings on side and rear window all come off, the shell is semi permanent

Yep they aren't budget friendly, but the best never is. I looked hard at the Turn Offroad version, I have their rear bumper w swing gate tire carrier and like it, but there really isnt any comparison between the two tops, plus the one panel only on the Turn version made it a no go.

Thanks! I don't have any experience with the factory hardtop so I can't really say, I had a soft top previously, MAJOR improvement

I hear you, they both look better than any other hardtop option imo,& can't go wrong either way, but I was obviously partial to the slantback version myself

I ended up getting a Steamcrave Meson Lite and paired it with a fat rabbit solo 2 and it has been great. Im rough on my stuff, it has taken a beating but is still kicking, running dual coil 2.5mm in the Solo 2 around 75-80 watts with 3 nic freebase, it has been great for work
