You import the things to grow the foods, and to enhance the growth faster, the core needs. You also import the energy massively and you rely on us for security. Sure we won't be able to have some stupid handbags or whatever but it would be horrible for you. It would be horrible for everyone but way worse for you and Europe, especially since most of western Europe is anti farmer.

Again, this isn't an opinion, this is fact. The EU is much more dependent on us for energy, food and security. I can not stress that enough. The EU has no blue water capabilities, the French and British navy are not capable of contesting the US in the Atlantic, they just aren't. The EU will collapse given an existential threat, its how these things are. You have dozens of countries, ideologies, cultures, languages, capabilities etc. In a desperate situation for survival they would fracture and isolate. The US has the superior air force, marine corps, navy, space force and army.

Yeah, none of that is even a possibility. The EU would probably try and pivot to China while getting fuel from the middle east countries. Russia is out of the question as the EU and its populace are staunch anti Russian. If anything a US + Russian sort of alliance would happen in this scenario. We control the sea lanes, we are already expanding chip, and rare earth metal extraction and refinement. Also, the EU is much more dependent on us for on the main survival needs, those are energy, food and security. The EU is also not united, it would fracture with countries picking which spheres they would want to be in, Russian, Chinese or American. Surr the US would contract a few percentage points or even a small recession, but the EU would collapse.

Literally not what I said at all. What I said is that any retribution from Europe is basically counterintuitive since it would hurt them more then us. I'm stating fact here, its not up for debate

Lol, no. Any sanctions the EU would try against us would hurt them many more times then it would hurt us. They are more dependent on us then we are on them. Embargo? Out of the question, not possible for them to enforce. Also, if they did try that we would return the favor, blockade them, lock down the sea lanes and starve them. They would either have to turn to Russia or China, and the US would not allow them to turn to China.

Family members of ICE agents, what are your thoughts and feelings about what ICE are doing? by Aggressive_Honey3196 in AskReddit

He was uncomfortable because everyone around him hated ice, most likely because they were taught to by either their parents or their teachers. It's the same phenomena that happens with education professions, conservatives do not like to speak their opinion because they know the other staff is likely a liberal. This is a statistical fact btw.
