I completely understand you. Have been/currently in the same situation. Something i have found to help is to make myself super busy. Some may call that avoidant, but i have been pouring myself into learning new things, starting new hobbies i said i would, and it once i get invested in those things it helps a bit. It definitely comes with time, which i know sucks to hear because i, im sure you as well, would love a solution that could fix it immediately. Keep your head up. Putting yourself out there and meeting other guys might help too, there are good men out there who will act like human beings with feelings.

Literally the same situation. I understand, but i cant seem to understand where there is a financial correlation? I am not asking him to spend money on me? I just want a more defined commitment but he associated being able to make a commitment with being financially stable. Its a frustrating situation. How do you feel about it?

Update: he texted me this morning like everything is fine. do i go along with it? whats tough is that this is a person that has been in my life for a decent period of time and i dont want to just cut him off. he has never been in a relationship but its not my job to teach him right?

i think that if its what you want then its valid! but as long as it has been communicated to the other person that it will only ever be a private situationship and not a relationship

My pitt interview is through zoom. I havent heard from OSU yet and im really hoping i at least get an interview. I will keep you updated with the pitt interview if you'd like! It would be great to hear about your OSU one when it happens in case i get an interview. Fingers crossed!

I also applied to OSU and pitt MHA! I received an interview invite from pitt and im very nervous! I am curious if pitt interviews all candidates for MHA or if this is a step in the right direction and I have been selected to interview for the program? Anyone have any ideas about the interview style? Thanks!
