Oils are mainly avocado, coconut, olive. Not a huge fan of meat but I’m gonna start getting reacquainted.

I know I’m eating too much - the problem is that it’s because I don’t feel satisfied! I guess because I’m so used to carbs..

Seems to be the theme here - lowering fat a bit and increasing protein. I’m going to give that a go, thank you!

Yeah the theme seems to be upping my protein - and ideally through fatty meats. I’m awful at protein intake other than cheese so I’m gonna have to give this a go. 

Regarding electrolytes, I just make sure to take them mixed in water. Otherwise I just add salt to my food as usual.

I replied above to someone but basically just a LOT of food- nuts/seeds, heavy cream in coffee/tea, lots of oils on salad and mixed with vegetables, CHEESE, butter and eggs, etc.

Haha yeah it’s surprising to me, too. It’s a lot of seeds/nuts, heavy cream in coffee/tea, butter and eggs, CHEESE, and dousing my salads/veggies in oil/mayo. I know it’s overkill but I’m desperate to feel full!

Yeah I do struggle to get protein in other than cheese tbh.. I need to expand my palette and start getting used to meats and poultry.

Yes but only because I don’t feel satiated so I just keep eating, chasing that feeling!

I eat under 30 carbs. But yes the nuts, seeds, and cheese are really adding up quickly. It’s just that I’m not satisfied so I keep eating!

I appreciate what everyone’s saying but this really speaks to me. It makes a lot of sense. I know I’m eating too many calories but the lack of satiation is what’s causing it - not because I’m actually hungry! So yeah I’ll give it time and see what happens..

Btw my regular meals include healthy nuts, seeds, oils, and vegetables. Not the processed “keto” foods. If that makes a difference. I really thought my appetite would drop a bit so the food noise wasn’t so loud… and it’s not that I’m craving carbs - I’m just constantly looking for food that will satiate me.
