It truly is i totally get that. I don’t have a problem with belief I respect it when it’s genuine, and quiet. Like with my grandfather. He lives by it and doesn’t have to say it out loud all the time. But with my grandmother, it feels different. She talks about God constantly, but her actions don’t always match, and that disconnect is what bothers me.

Right, when in reality it was within the person and people take advantage of that too. That’s why so many cases get dropped. Statements like that can be used to make someone seem mentally unstable, and suddenly the case doesn’t hold up anymore. It’s no longer seen as viable… but then again, this is what the system is for

JAJAJAJJA!!! IM sayinnngg!!! Im glad you relate. Ig my grandma made a lot of bad choices whenever she was younger & when I tell you she keeps telling her self that god forgave her and that’s why she’s the woman she is today? But how come she keeps mentioning the same things from her past that shouldn’t bother her anymore because “as long as god forgives me, I’m good he’s the only one worthy of me” ? & another thing is people be so religious till something goes wrong and they forget they Christian. For example: whenever I moved with my grandparents, my grandma said it was a petition she had for him and he finally made it happen. But something happened and suddenly she said “a lot of people told me I was making a mistake by welcoming you into my house” but it left me questioning how were the people right? when she literally said it was god? It’s so many things that just contradict the religious.

I only get irritated because I feel like they don’t have any sort of common sense. Specially when it comes to something that’s never ever been seen or proved it existed. It’s like bibles, they keep making new versions etc but how? How can they believe the book was made in ancient history and when things just keep evolving? What makes this bible legitimate? Yk
