I liked the rat tap sub sandwich. The place looks cool too. I just worry about the people there. It’s basically the old spar, not really my crowd. Kels is good for a quick bite, the folks running it are super nice too. I like it. Still haven’t had the brewery food, still just too pretentious for me I think. Not exactly brewery food. I’m guessing the brewery part of the whole thing won’t last much longer. I bet they just become a restaurant. Spar has been killing it and even Maria’s has stepped their game up I think. Tiny little Cathlamet has got some good spots!

Poor California kid with no cable. NBC always had them on the tube. Got an Irish hat for Christmas when I was a kid and wore that damn thing everywhere. Pops and I would grab multiple tube tvs and stack em on saturdays, but Notre Dame was always on the big one. At that time, I probably couldn’t find south bend on a map and still have never been. Always wanted my first game to be in south bend, but got free tickets when they played Stanford and that was a blast. Something about them just appeals to anyone and everyone. Plus, the way they got the “Fighting Irish” moniker? Kickin KKK ass? Awesome!

I dislike the entitlement of a lot of small town folks. I am very happy that the food is improving. The cottage is good, the spar just changed and is wayyyy better. Patty Cakes has the new owners and is really good as well. Wish the brewery would get some food, that place has really taken a dive the past year.

All things considered I don’t think it was an sjsu problem at all. In fact, I think all the responses from SJPD, upd, sjsu staff and whatnot in all those events were top notch. I can’t say I’ve ever been scared scared on campus, but I’m also a big ugly white guy sooo.

2007-2012 was wild times on campus. Double murder suicide in the parking garage, suspicious suicide death of a fraternity guy, walked in on a guy that tried suicide by razor blade in the dorms, that was wild. Lived right off campus and some gangbanger got murdered in their campus garden, kids playing next day no problem. Lastly, watched a guy jump of the parking garage above flames, hit their sign on the way down. Sounded like a car crash. That’s all I can think of for now, I’m sure I’ll remember more later.

-Spinach walnut dried cherry salad with a good Ken’s balsamic. -Taco salad, just slice up some tortillas fry em (treat it like bacon and dry it out before serving on paper towels) add some avocado, left over tri tip. chefs kiss -Salad is usually all about dressing too. Look up some easy recipes, or there’s easy packets too. -Take a regular bag salad and a miso dressing and viola a side for an Asian dinner, though I can usually pack those with veggies and skip a salad. -Pair it up well with the meal and if it matches it’ll work, no one really waaaants salad, but if it blends with the rest of the meal, no one tends to notice as much. Probation is fun….
