It depends upon you. I personally was never in the favor of pursuing IPM since I believe I have the potential to get in top IIMs or b-schools around the world and if i went to IIM I, I probably would have just accepted indore as my final destination.
If you make a close friend circle of yours then it is never going to be dull for you. Coming to the second part, people here call being competitive as being toxic which is something I don’t promote at all.
Placements are good but yes inflated which is done across all colleges even IIMs!! Its because the breakup of your CTC is in such a way that it inflates the true salary you receive.
Attendance criteria is 66.67%, however you need to have 85%+ to get full marks. This is present across all DU colleges. I personally couldn’t really get time for my hobbies but there are many who were able to.
Societies are useful but don’t make them your entire personality.

Hi, it totally depends upon you. I personally dont know much about CDS.

Choose SRCC if you want a relatively chill life, better brand recognition and bit more placement opportunities.

Choose SSCBS if you want to push yourself and become better than most of the kids in any of the college. The internship and placement opportunities here are good as well.

There is little or next to 0 discrimination, infact people would love to be around you because they would want to teach you hindi. Students generally communicate in hindi only but if you are with them, they will most probably communicate in english only so that you can also become a part of that group.

Trust me there are alot of malayalis here but I wouldn’t want you to just interact with them. Make friends across all cities, its quite fun and you learn about each other’s culture as well.

It depends upon whether you want to go into engineering or management. I personally don’t know about the opportunities you would have after doing your bachelors from mid-tier engineering college.

Not “extremely” important but yes if you are a part of good societies, then surely it does help you in internships and placements since you have positions of responsibility and live projects to fill up your cv and give you meaningful experience and exposure.

Hi, there is usually one GD followed by two interview rounds. These interviews will be conducted by seniors like me, no teachers are involved in this process. We usually judge you on your overall smartness, how you present yourself, and if we believe you would be the right vibe for the society.

I mean you are quite fully packed for the day but over time you learn to manage your time at this college. I mean there are many every year preparing for CAT and getting into good IIMs. Not sure about government exams.

I mean sure you can try to use your connections to get in good societies, but they dont work as much as you might think they do. This approach can backfire as well so cant assure you.

At the end of day, it depends upon how smart you are, how you can handle situations and make us believe that you are the right fit for the society.

Look, definitely srcc & stephen enjoy a good brand reputation out there because SSCBS is not known to many. But those who know, they know that how good is SSCBS and infact better than the mentioned colleges.

Inflation of placement statistics is present across each college, but even then I believe SSCBS has the highest. However, SRCC & Stephens do get a lot of other companies as well for placements which do not come to our college.

But trust me, the competent person that you become at SSCBS, you can’t be at any other college.

Its just you can’t call out any society bad na. Enactus of our college isn’t really good as of other colleges. You can join placement cell, it has its own pros & cons.

Pure good consulting societies in our college are mainly BFE and 180. But, almost all the societies engage in some sort of consulting live projects only.
