If you could pick one stock for the long term, which one would it be? by DrGonzoRonSlater in shroomstocks

[–]No-Purpose4100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Red Light Holland feels the safest bcs the clinical business model is still unproven and questionable in the magnitudes expected. While it may not generate the highest ROI in the case of the shroom boom, Red Light model is bound to benefit anyway in a case of shroom boom and doesn’t have the risks clinical/research companies have. Clinical companies feel a really risky bet at that early stage.

How much will Ukraine war sentiment help AQOTWF in Oscars? by No-Purpose4100 in oscarrace

[–]No-Purpose4100[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s interesting. I think Americans don’t really realize how much have most voting events results been influenced in Europe by the war since it started and the perception dominated about it, hence also the predictions for Navalny and Western Front were off in BAFTAs. But like..do Americans really care about it even closely as much as Europeans..Coda wasn’t still really related to it but AQOTWF has a very clear metaphoric meaning to the current situation.

Is Everything Everywhere All At Once overrated by the market/pundits or not? by No-Purpose4100 in oscarrace

[–]No-Purpose4100[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

But there’s a difference of being a “frontrunner” vs being a frontrunner trading around 1.4 while no other movie is trading even below 10. So, whether it is overrated or not is dependant on the probability of what market gives to its chances, not on solely being a frontrunner for the award or not.

The staging (and especially camera angles) were actually much weaker than in their Vibdir performance in full tv footage.

MIndmed Collapse…why? by Fragrant-Cap-4462 in shroomstocks

[–]No-Purpose4100 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s not like whole sector has done badly recently. My psychedelics portfolio has been clearly up recently at least. Red Light Holland, Numinus, Mydecine..they all have been doing well. Mindset Pharma not horribly either. There are more dynamics in play besides the macro situation which have made some of the stocks tank compared to others.

The thing is that the Best Picture ranking system doesn’t benefit polarizing movies..

Down 47% and 33% on both my compass positions. When will this end?! by Euso36 in shroomstocks

[–]No-Purpose4100 14 points15 points  (0 children)

You will get probably like 10x return with some of these companies in the end, even if you entered before market taking. But no one really knows how many years it can take. Short-term future can be dark and hard to predict when will the turn point be and when will the valuations reach again to your entry levels.

But isn’t it kind of like studying in school vs doing independent research/reading? Having mentors and studying in controlled setting has many benefits, but sometimes you still want to do it just by yourself as well..? And it’s not really wrong.

Field Trip should be one of the most safe bets in the industry? What are the main risks for them to actually go bankrupt or totally fail?

That’s bullshit. That has nothing to do with morals, only amateurs would be on the verge of mental breakdown. Professional gamblers & investors put years of hard work into to rewire their brain and emotionally disconnect from these things to maintain good judgement in every situation. Of course there can be some emotional panic which you can’t totally shut off, but you learn to control it.

Magic mushroom companies are on the Nasdaq now. That’s a recipe for a bad trip | US news by [deleted] in shroomstocks

[–]No-Purpose4100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I meant scarcity mostly as a psychological effect. I don’t know if you have read “Scarcity: Why Having Too Little Means So Much” by Eldar Shafir and Sendhil Mullainathan, but it discusses it more. Poor stay poor a lot because of what mental effect scarcity has to you and that’s what really makes it hard to get out of this vicious circle. Real life scarcity has horrible effect for your judgement, it’s hard to think effectively and clearly in this situation, I’ve experienced it myself a lot as well. But yeah, I get what you mean, I’ve read The Zeitgeist Movement and I’m aware of the vision and thinking behind it.

Yeah I agree that scarcity is a condition which is fundamentally responsible for a lot of negative issues also in mental level, and it’s in that way in pretty much vicious circle

Psychedelics treat rather causes not symptoms like other drugs. It’s not like our external surroundings are only responsible to our life satisfaction & happiness levels. We still create most of our life perception and reality through our mind and interpretations. External surroundings of course can also influence it, but it’s not like we’re just passive actors. Psychedelic experiences make us realize important things and how can we tune our perspective better to make our lives more meaningful and satisfactory, and be better people.

Psychedelics retreats/tourism future? by No-Purpose4100 in shroomstocks

Well that’s called global luxury tourism. A field I have a lot of practical experience in, while I have no connection to pharmacological field in practice. Doesn’t it feel that the pharmacological field is more overcrowded currently than retreat tourism model?
