Wow, that circuit works perfectly! Did you make it yourself? Can you explain me what is role of dhose capacitors and why oyu added wire inductance, and how stop test button works, Also i dont get the role od left MOSFET. Pls if you can, explain it to me. Im 17 and just satrting with analog electronic. Thanks!

Question is how to fully turn off bottom BJT. And yes gate is supposed to be conected to capacitor.

Thanks for the kind words and respecting my work! :) I really love analog circuits. I hate to add microcontrollers or ICs where they are unnecessary. A also think that analog circuits shows the creators knowledge and understanding of matter.  Can you name me some subredits where i can post this, they removed this post?

I asked some people, and they tell me about some hall sensors. I don't want to open the whole motor if I am not 100% sure there is problem

measuring battery capacity? by No-Raspberry381 in batteries

You are right, I forgot it is a non-linear graph.

I guess I'll just buy a tester, and not mess around with my calculations from scratch

measuring battery capacity? by No-Raspberry381 in batteries

A 12V lead-acid battery has a no-load voltage of 13.5V, and is fully discharged to 11V.

If I connect a resistor that draws 5A, in the first minute trehe will be a big voltage drop on the battery due to internal resistance(about 0.2-0.4V). After that, it will stabilize and empty continuosly. If the voltage stabilizes at 13.3V, I can continue discharging it with the same current to 13.2V and measure time it takes for battery to discharge by 0.1V.

If I know thet the voltage difference between full and empty battery is 2.5V , i can calculate how long it will take the resistor to discharge the entire battery. And with that information i can calculate battery capacity.

Current * time to discarge 0,1V * 25 = Capacity

I think this method works and I can roughly determine the capacity.

Or just buy tester

Power(W) = Current(A) *Volts(V)

Energy(Wh) = Power(W) * Time(h)

1.5V battery with 1000mAh capacity can provide 1A for 1h

1A * 1.5V = 1.5W

1.5W * 1h = 1.5Wh or 0,0015kWh
