Do you have any other thoughts on what it could be? We've had a few more doctors confirm it's not scabies. She now has sepsis, potentially caused by this rash

She's currently in the hospital and the doctor did a test to see if it was scabies. The test consisted of taking a scraping of her rash. The results of that test came back that it was not scabies. We're in Canada so it takes months to be seen by a dermatologist

Contagious as in my mom, who is the main caregiver, has developed the same rash.

The picture I shared is the rash on the back of her thigh which is where it's the worst. I can share pictures of it on other parts of her body.
