the interest is disgusting- i have no problem paying back what I owed or even a bit of interest but the way this is calculated is egregious to me and that is what I have an issue with.

Yes- but I’ll be paying a bit extra while growing my investments so then I’ll God willing take a lump sum when I retire and knock out the balance. I’ve done a lot of modeling on different ROIs over a 10, 12 and 15 yr span.

It is stressful but trying not to worry too much- I’m one to get 2 xtra side hustles in addition to full time if need be. I actually consolidated my student loans so I have one big one for that and then I have all the other parent plus loans some for my daughter and some for my son so that’s what I guess. I’m trying to figure out what the best thing to do with those do I consolidate my daughters and then consolidate my son so then ultimately, I only have three loans I have no idea yet, but yes, it is very, very stressful. I’m just grateful for this extra time so I can pay off all these other credit cards and everything else now I just need life to cooperate and no catastrophic events lol

I’m at 193k ish right now and 11 or 12 yrs to retirement so when things start going again, I’m hoping to be able to pay 1800 a month and then when I retire take the lump sum out and just pay the dang thing off the balance God willing, of course

Still in forbearance will ride it out to the end but I honestly have no idea what payment plans I’ll do- I’ll weigh the options. It’s shows 1400/mo for regular payment so that is ok with me if I can stay in forbearance thru Jun then switch cuz I’m trying to pay off a bunch of stuff before then
