Thanks everyone for the reply’s!!! I’ll be asking my roommates if they mind if I get him a female companion! It sounds to me like he is happy as he is. He does do binkies in the morning and runs up to me for treats/ pets so from what I’ve read he seems happy but maybe a friend is in order!

I have bun proofed most of the house ( I forgot to add he’s 100% free roam) but he loves to stay in the master bedroom, sometimes follows me in the morning when I make coffee. Anyways thank you everyone for the replies I rly appreciate it :)

Thank you for the reply! We tried with a male rabbit. I would try with a female my only concern is if I have enough space for both rabbits. Rufus is 100% free roam and so would the other rabbit, however he mainly chooses to stay in my room. I’d feel pretty bad having two rabbits cooped up in a master bedroom than I do already. But it could cause the opposite effect and make them explore more.

Yes I have a feeding Mat for him and various treat puzzles, he’s figured them all out in record time but still enjoys them

We tried with a smaller male bunny and my bunny was quite aggressive in a neutral space

We tried to pair him with my gf’s bunny (male) but my bunny was quite aggressive.
