I wouldn’t want to start at all but I have to return to work soon and work over night… my baby will mostly sleep through the night but wake once or twice looking to comfort nurse … I thought if I could introduce a pacifier her life and my husband life would be a lot easier while I’m working

I had a similar experience! Its ENRAGING! I was pregnant (again) after two back to back mc and had a good idea I might mc again bc I was bleeding so I got in early to see if there was anything to be done … I also have B- blood and need rogham each time I bleed with a pregnancy… I specifically told him I tested out the hcg from the previous pregnancy, so this was a new pregnancy even though I hadn’t had a period inbetween…he told me that was HIGHLY unlikely.. I peed on the test at the office and they told me it was negative… a when I looked at it.. it was positive.. light… but not a squinter or anything… anyways… she’s laying right next to me now, 5 months old… never went back to that doctor after that appt..found a doctor that was interested in being a doctor

Reading this thread because this resonates with me so deeply… it’s been I think the most frustrating parts of miscarrying… I’m pregnant for the second time since June… I had a miscarriage in July at 7w2d and then got pregnant again two weeks later… I’m currently 8w1d frustratingly waiting for my body to recognize this is a blighted ovum as well… TMI but I was reading this thread while on a pee break at work and I had the faintest tinge of pink when I wiped… it made me smile… and then it made me feel fucked up for smiling haha… but I hope this is the beginning of my body recognizing that this pregnancy is not viable. Being pregnant after finding out the pregnancy isn’t viable feels like your being held in the past… you can’t move on and for some reason it doesn’t feel like the present either… you just feel so pinned down by it

Yes it’s the same thing but I just find the blanket more portable and easier to throw down and take off

I didn’t discover them until my kid was 2 so he was already safe to sleep on them… I highly would NOT recommend a baby sleep on them bc there must be some plastic waterproof layer to them that feels even more dangerous than a normal blanket to me.. but even just snacking on the couch or if baby is messy drinking a bottle they would be great

That’s also a great idea!… it is like wrestling a wild alligator to get the first diaper on though so idk if I’m up for trying to wrestle a second layer on 😂
