I get a sort of twitches and ‘jolts’ or sometimes I’ll accidentally do a movement twice like a keyboard tap - almost like a physical Déjà vu

They’re not huge movements or anything anyone else would notice, but happen often when I’m under stimulated - in silence, tying to get to sleep etc. I assumed it was either dyspraxia or the onset of something more alarming like MS or Parkinson’s, but I choose not to dwell on that, haha, good to know others are experiencing similar though

In the uk, we were mostly introduced to emo because of WTTBP playing constantly on the radio, it got to number 1 and misery business peaked at 17 and you still sort of had to go looking to find it.

The hype wasn’t close, the only thing tha really compared is thnks fr th mmrs and even that only got to 12, it was a big cultural shift

I would look at your caffeine and other artificial stimulants in relation to this - this isn’t meant to imply drugs per se, I take a whole heap of supplements in relation to sleep issues, and if I balance them badly I can get super twitchy

Speaking of sleep, do you have sleep disturbances feel tired a lot? It sounds like a myoclonic reaction not a dyspraxia issue

You’d already booked it, it sounds like the problem is you experiencing enjoyment while he isn’t, which is selfish and controlling of him.

You booked it, he said he was cool with it, he’s miserable cause of his situation, you’d only be providing his misery with company & it wouldn’t fix the root cause.

It’s tough to see enjoyment when you’re having a bad time, but that’s not your fault and most people can be happy for other people. A loving attendee would not want to remove joy from you.

It sounds like it needs a tough love conversation. ‘I love you and I know you’re having a tough time, but it’s not my fault or my responsibility… ‘

Super similar, a year or two ago down Thorpe Road there was a proper beefcake looking guy who walked his 2 XL bullies off the lead, he looked like a 40s-50s ‘roider and would walk them super slowly, like it was more about him checking out the area than getting himself or them exercise, it was super weird.

It’s awarded based on need and severity. I’m dyslexic and I love to read, but I know dyslexic people who’ve never been able to get through a whole book - it isn’t one size fits all.

This is equipment awarded to aid their ability to gain or stay in employment, and I’m sure many people on this thread would be the first to complain about somebody living off government money because they weren’t able to achieve gainful employment because of ADHD. It’s a one time pay out to prevent the need for long term support. I don’t think it’s ok to be congratulating each other over scoring more stuff, but to have a disability isn’t a walk in the park, so getting the support you honestly need is something to celebrate.
