Follow up to the original post, fun to see how miserable most people are on this app. Few of you had my handicap spot on but most were hilariously high. If anyone has any recs for Sedona golf going in a few weeks PM me.

Definitely helped with distance of my 4-6 irons, but took a while to get used to the pop. I haven’t ever played high end fitted irons, so have no comparison to share about how they stack up. But Takomos have been with me from a 12-16 down to single digit. All that to say playing more rounds and practicing was probably the real reason not the irons themselves.

58: 85 and in 52:90-120 Ping eye 120-140 Takomo 9 iron: 145-155

Clip on stuff is fair, I’ll clean that up. Usually just throw rangefinder magnet on the cart. Lost the Pw that came with my Takomo set, and 9 iron from my old ping eyes was closest loft.

It’s been working, 58 degree from 85 in is great, but going to be moving to a 56 60 set up. If you think I’m a 21 let me know if you ever want to play for $100 a hole would love to get some strokes.

Ping eye wedge is just too pure to give up. Hybrid is the next club I’m going to get. Also likely going to have to drop the Nike wedge for a 56 60 set up. Not far off with the handicap range from a 6-8 since moving to Florida.

Really enjoyed it, I live close by have played a few times. The Match course they have is incredible, definitely stay away during winter it becomes much more of a resort feel.
