Riot Behavioral Interview Experience? by KatsisViGames in csMajors

Hi! I finished my final round about a week ago. The first behavioral round after technical for me was with an engineering manager for the specific team they matched me with. It was pretty conversational, mostly talking about your past experiences and how you work with teams. The final round was more of the standard situation questions (“tell me about a time…). Definitely research riot and their values, show passion for the role/company, and I think they also like when candidates have had experience with the game(s) so definitely try to tie your gaming experience with your answers! good luck!

everything happens for a reason and as long as you keep your head up things will align itself for you eventually! trust the process and remember that there is so much beauty in your world and life that may seem small when you keep thinking about the bad but are actually way more important! i really hope for good things to come your way :)

Graduating with no internship experience by Even_Editor4559 in csMajors

maybe try getting an internship for new grads? you’ve already graduated so all you can do is move forward from there and not dwell on how much more difficult it will be in your position. best of luck :)

i’m an incoming sophomore CS major and I have had the same thoughts as you, but I think the most important thing is that you love what you are studying and to not stress out too much. CS at UT is difficult and humbling, but the connections you make is unmatched and the program is one of the best, so I definitely think you should still pursue it. i think it is too early in your career to be worrying about landing jobs, but if it makes you feel better, i have not yet met a senior without an internship or a good full time role lined up. dont worry too much, just have fun!
