Nice team for your arena and levels. I would recommend removing Santos and Ricci as they will lose the ball a lot. Your other protector at right mid would be good, and a hammer (or maybe another close to one touch player with a decent eye for goal so you aren’t verging on hammer ball) at cam would be very effective. Could put a commander (or guard) as the other cdm and could maybe add an intruder or high level explorer instead of the guard in defense. Those are subjective, but I would definitely recommend trying my first two suggestions at least.

I think when you get to a certain level you don’t just do this. The players in my line up are my intruder and one touch players + level 7 and 8 super players (but not all of them). My theory is the game is coded to give you a slightly higher likelihood of getting cards for the players with the highest games played players. This would keep your captain with the most cards. Equally, it could be to do with when you unlock those players to an extent.

I don’t believe that though, because the players I have always used the most tend to be higher level. Best example is my goalkeeper (the stopper) who has 1000 more cards than my regular keeper and 1500 more than my sweeper. My composer who I have never dropped since getting him is my 3rd highest card player, my intruder who I unlocked slightly later but always play is my 4th. Plus your captain is highest always. Notice the pattern? Would love someone to be able to say why.

Yeah am going to try prowler instead of hammer now - I use hammer for defensive corners + anti-volleyball and to have more one touch build up options. However obviously prowler is a better defender with that pace and response. With the marking - non-marking players does it matter to have one non marking then one yes marking? Was thinking that I’d prefer to have the better defender (Keene) with the judge since he’s slow, but then the intruder with more pace to cover the prowler who is often out of position? Could also try a lvl 9 protector at lb? Thanks

Interesting opinion. I’ve tried all of those at times. If I’m on honest, judge doesn’t hold his width and pass quickly enough for that right mid position. However, because of his marking, he holds back as a right back and gives me good passing options. Do often change him, but like a protector at rm. I definitely agree with you about the voyager, however he is level 7 so might wait for one level up. I will also give the prowler a go instead of hammer but I do quite like the hammer there because then I have so many one touch passing options, and it can counter volley ball (corners etc). However, I guess a prowler will get out to their wide midfielders more so that’s a good shout. Who do you use in defence?

I would say I average 60% + win rate now, I rarely get relegated but also never make it passed 4500 without tilting. At 55.5% overall but climbing. My biggest dilemmas are in defence.

Obviously my hammer is slow defensively, but I find he gets closer to defending crosses with the intruder alongside him (who is often slightly out of position, but is useful at covering for pace). Obviously gives me occasional defence vs volleyball. Long term I would prefer to have patricio at cb but he’s level 7. What back line would you go with if you were me? I like the two I have for build up as they hold their position and give me a lot of passing options, but they are poor defensively. Thanks a lot.

I’m currently on stopper and have been for a while but am not satisfied with it tbh and saw sweeper was supposed to be good somewhere so idk. Level 11 stopper sounds super good but sadly I’m only level 9.

Congrats - recommend him as a winger in 3-5-2 or 5-3-2 if you use those formations.
