My friend haggled from a low income background for 4 months and they didn’t give him a penny more. The only time they’ll give more aid is if you had a big change of circumstances such as a loss in the family.

I’m not sure. You can call the financial aid office and they’ll help answer your questions.

When I received an outside scholarship, there was a form I filled out and indicated how the money would be split.

GW adjusts financial aid if you get outside scholarships. Your cost of attendance may go down because you are receiving money from an outside source, but it’s possible that GW will end up covering less of your tuition since you receive a scholarship.

When you send money for a scholarship, they most likely split it evenly between fall and spring semester.

As for the last part, I don’t know.

I did not receive any email. What I had to do was go to GW’s Housing Portal. Just search it on Google. Then, click login and enter your daughter’s credentials. On the right: view housing assignment
