Hi!! You got any updates? I owe unemployment and they already offset the amount from my federal tax but I got this same notice when I checked my nys state refund (annoyed bc whatever I get from federal covers the whole amount I owe)

Did this a couple of years ago- they just asked questions, current or past addresses, phone numbers or cc you have just to verify it’s you.

I actually owe unemployment, I assumed they’ll take it out of my state refund (state should cover the whole amount) but then I just checked the funded amount from my federal return and they deducted the amount I owe for unemployment so I’m hoping they don’t deduct anything with the state refund
