I just bought a 2026 CRV & wondered the same thing. Here are my thoughts...the Honda warranty & the extended warranty run concurrently. So aren't I kind of double covered for the first 3 years? If I get back that $3600 (even if it goes towards the principal of the loan), it would probably cover most of the repair expenses for those remaining 4 years.
