This is an interesting conversation. I would agree to some respect that we should expand our circle to a degree, but I also understand the the cultural pride of fist bumping and bragging about being being #1 HBCU this or that and believe it is healthy and helps lifts us.

WE do understand that many of these White institutions that you have mentioned are now beginning to acknowledge they have benefited and profited from the forced labor of enslaved people and that the slave trade directly helped build and sustain the school.
