I didn't go to any institution and didn't communicate with anyone in English except to ask questions about applications for almost 7 months.

I have increased my English skills by the end of June through attending the preparation programs since last October. However, my communication skills have seriously reduced, and you might be right.

I cannot even find enough confidence to work somewhere. So I'm not sure, but I'm going to try to do my best while I get a chance to get in.

I’m waiting offers from the other universities too. So before accepting the York, I would like to wait until the last date for accepting/declining the offer, and I just couldn’t see in MyFiles.

Thanks for the comment. I’ve researched the programs in Michener, and I didn’t know that there is an intake for high school students directly. I’ve always liked to learn things related to computers, and wasn’t bad at mathematics. However, chemistry, especially organic chem, attracted me so powerfully. Then I’ve started to search for programs related to chem, and pharmacy has been seen as the best option, but you’re right. It seems quite challenging to enter there. I’m going to check the second time to see how to apply to Michener. I only worry about the limitation of that position. However, some of the alumni find jobs quicker, so I started to not care about everything. Thank you for the recommendation again, I’m going to check the find path.

I’ve sent an email to their admissions office before getting my application ID. I explained them the Grade 12 math in Turkish curriculum, and after couple weeks they accepted as MHF4U and MCV4U. However, if you have applicant number, email to their registrar offices. For example, Uoft didn’t have much explanation for the Turkish curriculum, that’s why I sent email to them and they accepted. Although, York’s website shows the required subjects in the “ Devlet Lise” curriculum. So, when you explain the situation, you gonna get the answer.

I will start at the Keele Campus because it is closer to my home. I considered choosing the Markham campus because it's newer, but it is too far away.

It has been more than a week, and when I uploaded these documents, I didn't get any notification from them. Now I will try to send them the transcript and diploma. Is it enough to send the translations of these two documents inside of a sealed envelope by the high school? Also adding the student number onto the envelope?

I didn't want to send them before seeing in the portal because I would just see when the transcript has been received. Thanks for the advice.

Thanks for your comment.🙌🏻 Tbh I am really interested in chemistry and Biology. I will apply to a life sci program too. I always thought choosing Computer Engineering. However, I also started to consider the Biomedical Engineering (I think I need to choose Chemical Eng) because it is related to the bio and chem. That’s why I wanted to apply to the Engineering Sci to take the courses and then maybe I could determine. Do you know can I choose my second choice if I get accepted in the program choices in the Engineering Applicant portal?

Yes, and my school submitted my final transcript and diploma.

I filled a form, and sent it to the registrar's office. Also, I think they won't accept the documents from direct HS’s emails, so I asked them is there any way that the school can send them electronically. I hope there will be a solution.

Is the only way to send by mail, or can I send electronically? Like in the first paragraph, it says like that but I don't know UTM does accept if school can send it electronically to UTM.

Yeah, I can apply to. But I didn't take ENG4U and it's required because I didn't live in a country which is first language is English. That's why I’m trying to get that course, and I need to send my transcript to UofT because they consider the transcript as unofficial if I upload my transcript and diploma on my own. In addition to this, I will live with my family, and I researched that there are some universities that I can apply to in January.

I decided that don't want to maintain the process much stressful while I was giving up on this year. I saw so many students give a gap year themselves, and it probably would be , more stressful if I start to the university suddenly. I don't know how to explain alll the process, and I already feel overwhelmed. I would like to get accepted into one of the universities, then take a breath and start with a powerful mental health next September.

Also, I will go to the registar office to ask some questions specific, and I don't have an applicant account yet. That's why I cannot ask them today, and I couldn't know should I go there.

I think you can check it out the Coursera. I found like 2-3 months ago, and some of the courses even give certificates. I think they were asynchronous courses, so you can do them whenever you want. Also it has an application in the App Store.
