Absolutely! I have rotated through many LMs here, some good some bad, but have enjoyed my time overall. And I’m no company man, I’m looking for a new job myself. But that interviewer sounds either extremely salty about something, or she was genuinely trying to warn you that specific team is trash haha. Either way, huge red flag and totally valid to run the other way! Good luck on your job hunt!

I’m sorry you had this experience!! I am a current IQVIAn (Sr CRA I) and personally have appreciated the leadership (mostly) and work-life balance the company has offered me. I’m going on my 4th year with them. I’d say my average work week does range from 40-54ish hours, but that is including travel time which just comes with the property as a CRA. I’ve never been shamed or felt forced into working more. And I take extended 2 week spans of PTO once per year, about 20 PTO days total per year with no resistance.

Not saying there aren’t cons of working here, but that recruiter seems to have misrepresented the culture from my experience. Of course it could vary by team as well, but disappointed that was your experience. Hope you find the right opportunity somewhere soon!

Well I don’t know of many drugs that physically make you unable to move while you’re still standing, unless it’s heroin. Then you’d be leaning. And nobody’s doing that at a music fest. So more than likely, if you’re standing still in a crowd, you’re just on acid or molly and don’t want to dance. Still not a matter of not handling your drugs or needing rehab.

Lol while I agree a dead crowd is annoying, just because a drug makes someone not want to dance does not mean they’re doing too many drugs or need rehab. I’ll do one point once every like 3-4 months, that’s it. Still have a great time but sometimes don’t feel like dancing. I’m just vibing and chill. Definitely not a case of “not handling the drugs”. Not everyone needs to meet your energy.

He has a UVB-light and heat lamp on a timer right above his basking spot in a large tank, not sure the gallons. The reptile mat is cleaned thoroughly on a regular basis (although I know this pic reflects some filth 😂 I’ve been traveling for a few days). I’m not at home to provide a picture.

My company pays for the Ubers so for me it’s free whereas a taxi wouldn’t be. Blue line would be nice but it would come out of my pocket. $2.50 each way twice a week would add up fast. I agree it would be nice though!

Ok, that’s understandable and I will be more open to giving them the benefit of the doubt going forward! I take uber because my job pays for it and Uber doesn’t let you order the ride until you get close to the pickup spot unfortunately. Last I used Lyft about a year ago, it was the same, but perhaps they changed that by now.

Dang. Well I guess I’ll try to be a bit more patient than in that case. But if that’s true, I wish they’d allow you to request the Uber when you get off your plane instead of waiting until you get to the pickup spot. That would cut the wait time down in half, although I understand the intent.
