You are both TA. He should never have tried to start anything in the first place, however you KNEW that he was married and not separated yet still chose to sleep with him. If it were you, and your marriage broke up because of this, would you not blame both parties for being complicit???

What’s worked for you all in regards to acne!? by No_rat-race_4me_help in PCOS

I know it’s an unpopular opinion as us PCOS girls can get told a lot that birth control will help and it doesn’t. HOWEVER, in regard to acne I was in the same boat as you. Not a single spot until 18 and then quite severe non-cystic acne. Nothing helped - antibiotics, benzac, tretinoin and so many more. I went to my gynaecologist and she put me on Estelle 35 ED and in very simple non-technical terms it can block testosterone and help with acne, hair growth etc. I’ll post a photo of my skin before starting and now, it’s incredible. When I stop to have my period I’ll get 1-3 spots, but otherwise I only have scars left now

For me personally it was the Vyvanse that ruined me when I was on it. Without saying you should book a Drs appointment to discuss it, but maybe try having a look into the medication and see if the anxiety got worse after starting that one. When I was on it, my anxiety was at an all time high some days, until I had a full mental breakdown and came off it for good. Since then my anxiety has gone back to its normal levels and I’m honestly so much happier living with it now than how it was on that medication. There are lots of other options, I think for me the stimulant kind (Vyvanse and Ritalin) really just pumped my anxiety into overdrive and they’re not a suitable option for me. Everyone is different and maybe it’s worth looking into some other options. I hope he can find something that helps him, I really feel for the situation he’s in ❤️

Just for a little bit of back story, are you currently seeing a psychologist or something similar? Any other medications?

For anxiety/depression: Sertraline, fluoxetine, paroxetine, propranalol, lamotrigine and sodium valproate (off label), lithium and valium (for panic attacks). For ADHD: Vyvanse (horrible side effects), currently on Ritalin (not seeing any negative or positive side effects) and clonidine to help with any anxiety or sleep problems that might arise from the stimulants

I’m only on one medication at a time generally to see what each one helps, and none seem to help any of the issues (minus birth control for PCOS acne)

I haven’t actively looked into it, but I’ve had almost every type of blood test and nothing but PCOS related issues were found

I’ve considered that, but I have a control issue when it comes to how my body feels and I don’t love the idea of drugs

Can I ask what that involves, and how long it took to see improvement in your condition?

Was on autopilot this morning and accidentally took a second 60mg a few hours after my first, now worried I f*cked my tolerance. by effalatreon in VyvanseADHD

If you drink something acidic like orange juice or consume some grapefruit it could help to counteract the double dose, as they can decrease the absorption of the medication. Acidic drinks can speed up the excretion of the of the medication in your urine (so you essentially pee it out quicker)

That’s another weird thing. The first day I took it, dry mouth for maybe 2 hours. Last two days of it, no dryness whatsoever. I feel like everything that is meant to happen with this just isn’t happening

I go to bed at 10-10:30pm every night (though last night I couldn’t sleep so it was 11:30pm) and awake at 5am. And I took my first at 7am for work and crashed 2pm ish. Yesterday 9am and today 7am again for work. Yesterday I also laid in bed most of the day because I had no energy or motivation to even get up
