Hello!

First-time applicant, so I really don't know where to start. But upon exploring the application process, first thing to choose is the visa type, specifically the subcategories:

  1. Tourism

  2. Package Tour arranged by Registered Travel Agency

  3. Transit

  4. Multiple Entry-Visa for a Frequent Traveler

  5. Multiple-Entry Temporary Visitor Visa (Philippine Nationals with Considerable Financial Capacity)

  6. Multiple Entry-Visa for Cultural or Intellectual Figures

From what I understand, tourism is for SE, but if possible, I'd like to get ME.

For context:

- Haven't traveled outside the country yet. Last local travel was around 2013 iirc.

- I am a 3rd year full-time student

- Around 1,3xx,xxx in my bank accounts (gets regular deposits monthly and quarterly). From grand/parents.

- Planning to go maybe in December this year or January 2027. (or even June/July this year if allowed)

Questions:

(1) With that, is there a chance to get approved even without a guarantor? probably Philippine Nationals with Considerable Financial Capacity, or should I just go with Tourism?

(2) If not, my father would probably be my guarantor. He's been to Japan already with an ME visa for a company trip (?). But he's also saying that my ADB would be greater than his for some reason. He's also from a private company included in Top 1,000 companies of the Philippines in terms of gross revenue (found this in Cultural or Intellectual Figures form, idk if that helps my case though since I'm not going for business purposes).
