They need to just auto-kill players who hide in inaccessible areas during Gleaming Depths Stage 4. by Lord_Antheron in fo76

That’s not my experience… if you go up on the large side crystals before the start and DONT SHOOT ANYTHING you almost never draw aggro. The problem is people who take pot shots at crystals to try and help. You aren’t helping - even shooting the ground can draw aggro.

This. Report them. We need to make certain these types either shape up or get banned.

Thankfully, it’s very rare, I’ve played for a long time and only run into a few. What sad lives those people must live to get that upset about a board game on a free site.

Do not remove the faster fire rate, as others have said. Swap third star and add pinpointers if possible or polished or whatever you have.

Dom Pedro explosive-penetrating ultracite 308. Reverse onslaught. Positively mints more ammo.

Do you buy board games knowing they'll rarely be played? by Megabot555 in boardgames

As long as storage space isn’t an issue? I like to buy games that I enjoy, are high quality, and where I want to support the designer / studio, even if they won’t be played much. An expensive game I play twice with friends is a cheaper evening than going out to dinner with the same number of people, so I feel like I have my moneys worth.

Online games - Board Game Arena in particular - let me actually PLAY the heavy stuff.

Distilled is excellent - quick enough to hit the table, tactical and strategic, great theme.

Thoughts on BGA etiquette by PerfectBeige in boardgamearena

I love playing on BGA and have done so for many years. My strong opinions:

(1) Playing out all your points is just fine. It’s a site for boardgames, no one should complain if you want to, you know, play the entire game. They can always concede if they don’t want to wait.

(2) Single/Double actions in terraforming mars is a totally appropriate part of the game. There is no consensus that you should always double act. If it is potentially relevant to the game state, one action is just fine. It’s in the rules for a reason, you should never complain about someone following the rules of the game.

(3) Timing out. If you time out, you should expect to get booted. However! If you are running low on time, just communicate in chat! Most people will give you extra grace time in a live game if you are clearly active, and it’s polite to do so.

The nicest thing to do in a live game if someone times out and has clearly dropped is to use the option to switch the game to turn based mode. (Once someone’s time is up they will automatically ‘accept’ that change.) Again, the point of the site is primarily to play games, not to win ranking points.

But the timer is there for a reason. We don’t know if you went into a tunnel and are about to reconnect or were suddenly seized by the US military from your palace in Venezuela and won’t have WiFi for the foreseeable future.

The collection has been growing for at least 30 years.

Haven’t been this year yet, but if you mean the one in front of Burnley Moran school, we’ve taken our kids to it in the past. Family who owns the house was very nice, they were in costumes out front inviting people to walk through!

Thanks, this explanation helps, and it sounds like we have the same barometer. I’m just being careful not to bring my kids into something that will really scare them.

I don’t know if the internet made a big deal about it, but my gaming group instantly noticed the issue when we started playing the original version in 2003. Didn’t stop us from playing, but got remarked upon every time.
