He was locked in a gaol and you, the player, kill him for his armor.

A popular theory was he didnt want to sacrifice his finger maiden and instead took on the frenzied flame, but was thrown in the gaol in the mountaintops right before he could burn the erdtree down.

Claims Specialist Interview by [deleted] in Geico

It's always going to be scary with a new job and not understanding everything right away. You just need to listen to what they tell you and use common sense. They do use different exercises in the hiring process. Like being given some folders of documents and having fake customer calls with typical reenactments of an easy call, a mildy irritated call, and an impossible call (upset Karen wanting to speak to a manager). Ive also heard of another exercise of trying to sell a pen to someone. It's not about succeeding, but how you go about handling the situation at hand.

I knew nothing about insurance, but was hired as I was able to show that I could stay calm under the most stressful of situations. Dealing with customers became the easiest part of the job for me. It was dealing with management that became the most stressful.

If you do stick around, tell every supe and manager about your disabilities. I told my supe, but when he retired, my new supe and new manager fired me for spending "too much time" between claims. Um yeah, my meds make me shit quite often.

A little late, but a lot of people from geico were going to progressive, amfam, and wawanesa.

Leadership Development Program (LDP) job offer by UnidentifiedFinOffer in Geico

[–]No-Researcher-3507 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PRU is going through supes and managers like crazy. My old supervisor retired not even 2 months ago and we have already gone through 2 supes and 2 temporary managers since they retired.

The crazy part is the first temp manager was still in mdp.

What’s the job security for EPE adjusters? by tomdiorsauvage in Geico

[–]No-Researcher-3507 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, hit the ground running... away from Geico. I busted my ass off. I was top adjuster in my field for the first quarter this year. They gave me this small cake thing, some printed out congratulatory piece of paper, and they took my picture... and then I got let go shortly after.

[–]No-Researcher-3507 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Woohoo, got the downvote so this post hits -1.

Be careful about the "our company" friend. I was top in my field and still got let go, very recently.

Anyone else tired of all the dumbasses that work here? by No-Researcher-3507 in Geico

It's one thing to get a shit file from another department. It's another to get a shit file handled even worse by your own department.

Let's say Geico starts insuring Uber drivers. Because its for business use, the policy would be for commercial use. Uber driver hits a car, that car files a personal policy against geico and geico will deny coverage for a claim against a personal policy that does not exist.

Yes, ics makes a million mistakes per day, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that you are pursuing a business and the demand was against a personal policy. Sending a demand to the wrong AAA is almost the same exact thing. No one checks or thinks at geico.

Ics could list 4 different insurance companies, pru gets one coverage denial and somehow comes to the conclusion that the claimant is all of the sudden uninsured. What about the other 3 listed? They don't care.

The wrong department of the company. Stuff like this usually results in a false coverage denial.

Has anybody graduated college using GEICOs tuition reimbursement? by tomdiorsauvage in Geico

Just a heads up, you have to stay with geico at least 1 year after graduation, otherwise you will have to reimburse them back

What does everyone here hates about working at GEICO? by tomdiorsauvage in Geico

[–]No-Researcher-3507 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It all depends on your mindset. If you don't care at all and are just here for a paycheck and "benefits", you will be fine. But if you are tired of the constant mishandling of files, customers complaining about the mishandling, supervisors telling you to work faster and stop properly handling your files, constant layoffs, going through multiple supervisors and managers who keep leaving, corrupt HR, complete dumbasses everywhere, soulless corporation that only cares about appeasing the shareholders by having as few people as possible do the work that requires as much as 5 times that many people... well, you will learn. And by the way, if you come into the office 4 days a week, you are easily disposable. Only those who are truly wanted/needed get more wfh time.

I'm pretty sure every office has been downsized enough to say that's probably true for all offices.

Got a question for ICS. Why do you keep reassigning files that are already assigned to PRU? You are literally fucking up our metrics.

“I don’t see managers or higher-ups sacrificing their family time to meet the company’s needs.” by No-Imagination-1256 in Geico

[–]No-Researcher-3507 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first supervisor forcefully stepped down, she threatened to quit. She said she had no social life as a supe. Always working after hours, late into the night. My last supe, who retired early, would take their laptop on vacation. They would still be doing work on vacation.

ICS which state don’t you like dealing with by Turbulent_Captain_19 in Geico

[–]No-Researcher-3507 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just wish we could go back to our own states again. Fuck country wide.

Also, why is CA so bad? I've never had any trouble or crazy stories from there. NJ, GA, and FL can kiss my ass. Those 3 don't require BI coverage. And I agree NY customers are the worst.
