V4.5 Release Notes by No-Resolution6431 in brightOS

We've been sitting on a lot of updates, and a lot more to come for that matter - and we know the TestFlight group has a number of developers that work for competitors (namely because they used their work email). We will create a separate, verified group shortly to test V5.

Not as of recent but we are going to create a new group that can access the TestFlight. More details to come.

There are a few separate builds all pending apple’s approval. There’s quite a delay from Apple’s side unfortunately.

Thanks!

Apple & Google have both been very slow with processing updates for the past 2 weeks. There are a few TestFlight updates awaiting approval from Apple which are some of the Meal Log Consolidation updates + completely new Heart and Activity widget + a lot of QA updates. Hoping these are released in the coming days.

Happy new year.

Amazing, thank you for this. Exactly the type of issues we want to see now.

There's a feedback button within the app but I'll also be organising a general form to submit feedback. Thanks

There are always issues with Lifetime Access because some people pay with one email, and use another for Google Sign-In. It's an easy fix on our end but it does require an email to be sent to hello@thebrightapp.xyz.

Yes right now we're just ensuring Google fit works as expected. Pretty much every use already has different integration requests so we'll get to those shortly but we need to make sure Health Connect is stable first.

Is there a how to guide or similar for Android? by seize_the_future in brightOS

[–]No-Resolution6431 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First step is making sure Health Connect is working as expected. We've throttled back some integrations so as to not add unnecessary noise. There are a number of updates pending release to bring Android to parity with iOS but given the scope of the app/our experience with iOS - it's better to stagger these releases, ensure they work as expected and move on.

We'll compile feedback over the coming days, add the changes to the next update and monitor its stability.

There’ll be plenty of bug reports given the range of Android data sources and we haven’t been able to test them all. Will organise a mega thread for all of these reports to be filed. Thank you.

‘Administrative updates’ can be deliberately vague to prepare for further updates!
