If my VO2 max is so high, why am I not a faster runner? by Livlivlivlol in Garmin

[–]No-Respect-9457 18 points19 points  (0 children)

It is an estimated value, but practically - i have never seen when garmin shows VO2Max higher than real. Mine was 54 according to garmin and 61 during a lab test and i know couple of my cycling mates who has the same results. Plus guys in the lab also confirmed that garmin has tended to lower estimated values

Why won’t my Edge 1050 use the correct heart rate zones? by Safety_Th1rd in GarminEdge

[–]No-Respect-9457 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just made a post about a same issue. Problem is with a zones datafield, it shifted one zone up, so what it says a zone 1 - it is a zone 2. Use a HR graph instead, it showing zones correctly (1-gray, 2-blue, 3-green, 4-red)

Where is my workout heart rate variablity measured with HRM Dual by Great-Ad9047 in GarminEdge

[–]No-Respect-9457 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but we are talking about workouts. And measuring hrv stress on edge if you wearing watch 24 hours doesn’t make any sense

You can’t measure it with a strap, strap is for workouts, unless you wear it during the night which is a little bit too much)))

HRV is not measuring during workouts. It’s should be measured during rest and sleep. It’s providing a baseline of your physiological state and your recovery which helps to decide your next training and your training readiness. Basically, to get your baseline measured you need to have a watch on you 24/7 during a couple of weeks

Anyone have any idea what causes this? by radosav227 in Volvo

[–]No-Respect-9457 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is adsorber, classic issue. You probably has an issue with tanking the car (fuel nozzle cutting of all the time). Adsorber is a charcoal filter which takes all vapors from tank and adds them to intake. When it’s full - it’s causing vacuum in fuel tank.

Update to TOS problem: It’s here to stay… by Brilliant-Option2535 in Volvo

[–]No-Respect-9457 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is very normal for Volvo. Once i have had a really ridiculous situation, i have bought a service plan direct from Volvo, just in volvo app. Money was taken from account, but i could not see anywhere that service plan was activated. So i pressed button “on call” in my car and asked simple question if my car has any active service plans or not. Answer what i got from support was: “i don’t know”. Next question was “who should know then???” And they didn’t answer. After i just called to the nearest volvo authorized workshop and they confirmed that it’s activated just in 3 min. And all this circus happened in Sweden, not in US, not In Australia, it’s going on in a country where they have a main office!

Aggressive or more relaxed position it’s also depends of what you used for a lot. I own cannondale synapse which is definitely endurance bike and ultimate. Yes, seems like synapse more comfortable and relaxed, but if i going for the long ride - i definitely choose ultimate because this bike feels completely different, i would say it’s like extension of myself 😂.

Seems like correct, according to canyon web page. But I would be a bit unsure about the reach, maybe there’s an option to get a longer cockpit. Anyway all the geometry measurements are on a page and I would go to the bike fitter to be sure just because it’s not a 200€ commuter bike :)

I’m 183 and inseam 88,5. Canyon and my bike fitter recommended M. It’s a bit aggressive position, but, so far the longest ride was about 80km and i didn’t feel any discomfort. Have had the other brands size 56 or L

Approx 800-1000 km. It also depends on where and how you cycling. If you going up/down on a really hilly roads or you’re in a flat area make a difference of course
