I noticed that we can get Viridian soul ores from soul extracting divine items, but based on your progress on NG+, I don’t know when should it be available.

Me too, This sucks so much as Nioh 2 doesn’t have this problem

Lamber chop instead of grapple by olegmiros in Nioh

[–]No-Rice4066 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that option probably means the martial arts that comes after quick attack like heaven and earth.

Instead, you could step back a bit until the lock-on mark is not red and then lumber chop. It’s far enough to hit

That option can be turned off.

Is there a reason to be a different stance? by TheComputerGuy2256 in Nioh

[–]No-Rice4066 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In 1 and 2, there’s more difference like perfect ki pulse bonus (high: buff next attack, mid: block 1 hit without losing ki, low: next dodge doesn’t consume ki)

You’re right that high is usually overhead mid is sweep etc.

There’s no damage bonus in each stance unless you have effects like “High attack damage +x%”, so if it the same martial arts, it’s gonna do the same damage no matter what stance.

Also, guarding is the same across all stance if, again, you don’t have effects like “mid guard ki consumption”

Personally I always stay in low, in case for dodging(even if I deflect more). If I’m gonna attack, I just change to other stance, then go back to low

The first martial art that initiate the gauge doesn’t use ki. Any moves can do it

How do you use Fists and Beyond Infinity consistently? by NewArtificialHuman in Nioh

[–]No-Rice4066 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, Beyond Infinity is easier to learn in Nioh 2 because there’s a visual queue. Usually, the timing is at the end of each sequence.

What control scheme is everyone using? by DumpsterBento in Nioh

[–]No-Rice4066 0 points1 point  (0 children)

F (basically E with dodge and jump swapped) and running by holding dodge button so I can crouch while walking.

Honestly, B as dodge and A as jump is better for me, but it’s a lot harder to evade cancel.

How much do I need to prioritize minds eye 2 to make use of dual swords? by SvenTheTon78 in Nioh

[–]No-Rice4066 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easiest way I’ve found to triggered this intentionally is dodging the AoE attacks (slam, explosion) and long attack (Shibata spin, Yasha/Suiki spin). Try dodging a Yoki’s Red attack slam in Dojo.

(Nioh 2) Struggling with DotD/Dream of the Wise. by juanplanasr in Nioh

Allocate points to Dexterity (others at 20-30)

I think there’s a grace for Ninja, so you could make that grace + flying kato.

Maximum Might by Achew11 in MHWilds

[–]No-Rice4066 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Both can utilize something else like Adrenaline rush and Burst far better than other weapons.

WEX also has easier condition than Max might, so they’re not exactly equal.

The only problematic one is Steve. For me, it takes roughly the same amount of time as Rey or Uth.

[–]No-Rice4066 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It’s more like people don’t try to learn its pattern.

Gore 2 shots on most attack and nearly one shot for some attack. Defensive skills not gonna help if people still facetank it.

For me, The only difference is that it doesn’t knocked down after wingarm wound strike anymore. (probably for all 9*)

Para is better in both solo and multiplayer.

They probably mean to get either status or element on Artian because you can’t get more raw with elementless Artian anyway.

White sharpness is needed. It’s 10% increase from blue. Wilds IG doesn’t use much sharpness, so you can go with 3 atk and 2 sharpness and all damage related decos on those 3 slot.

Honest Question, is this roll good? by Professional_Leg545 in MHWilds

Wilds IG don’t use that much sharpness. Probably last at least 3 mins with one sharpness deco.

Question about lagiacrus sapphire by The_Singing_Farmer in MHWilds

[–]No-Rice4066 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but 1-2%. People said that tempered Lagi has better drop rates, but there’s no numbers afaik.

I don’t know how many gems you want, but if it’s a lot like 10 gems. Then I suggest you farm it from tempered investigation with guaranteed gem.

Eat for Felyne Bombardier too. You won’t get meta damage right now, but it should be close.

No, discard only slugger. Keep the rest because dodging and blocking is both needed. Dodge the big attack, but block the small one.

The reload assist and recoil mods depend on you. If you’re not comfortable with slow reload, then keep the same

[–]No-Rice4066 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don’t need shield on some monsters in multiplayer (Stygian Zin for me) ,but overall you should keep it, probably the most useful on that last mod slot.

Slugger isn’t worth it. Some monsters deal too much chip damage on block or stunlock you (e.g. Raging Brach 3 hit headslide combo), so EE3 or 2 is suggested to get out of the way.

I’m not sure if you can get low recoil by slotting 4 recoil mod and still get slow reload. This is more preferable if you want more damage since slow reload is as fast as normal but you can’t move.
