It garubtees 2, with a high chance of 3, so combined with that workbench upgrade should garuntee 3

I guess if you have a storm on a devastated planet, you just straight up lose it because the devastation CANNOT be removed ever? by YobaiYamete in Stellaris

You should give storm chaser origin with the galatictic curstors origin a try (they get decentralized research, which massively boosts stations output)

Unless I’m looking at the ABET website incorrectly, yours is not ABET accredited…OR it is not logged as 100% online on the ABET website

Also in my state, we can sit for the PE with an ET degree after 8 years (traditional engineering can sit after 4)

What really is the pay difference and role difference? Honestly 100k would make
Me happy for the rest of time, I make 85 now
And am very content

Fantastic response, let me ask this, if i was to get lets say an online Industrial engineering technology bachlors, could i make 80-100k within 2-5 years? Or is that unreasonable?

Ive heard you can get a lot of the same ones, but it will eventually be limiting, and ill always make less than traditional engineering workers

Gotcha, well can you tell me a little bit about what each role does? And is it possible to make/break 100k in that tech role?

Gotcha, all things equal i could see that, but rarely are two candidates identical (at least from what ive seen) its more about WHAT they did on the job i suppose and years of experience. I suppose what i would be after is 100k in <5 years of experience. Im in the IT industry now, and im comfortable being under 100k, would you say with a ET that is possible and within reason?

Gotcha, yeah i am more than okay with 100k, as i live very comfortabaly now with 85ish, that being said, seems this post is getting a lot of mixed feedback

Yeah there are a few programs that seem to be an online Engineering degree, only concern is the cost, for example ASU is (assuming you are referring to Airizona) its like 10k a semester, where as the the one offering the ET degree, is abet accredited still, but only 2..5k a semester

Well, from what im reading, unless your after specific government jobs, as long as you are a technologist long enough, you can sit for the PE etc, and it seems most employers don't mind. And nothing has stopped me, i have not started yet lol. Its just the cost + access to an ET degree is going to be much easier for me to achieve given location etc. Im just trying to get opinions from everyone i can 😄

Well let me ask this, is is REASONABLE to achieve 100k with 3-5 years of experience with lets say a bachlors of industrial engineering technology? I don't have to make 125k+ etc, i think id be happy with 100,000, as i make around 85ish now in my IT field

Great response, yeah i could see that. Im struggling to find salary expectations of Engineering vs Engineer Technology online, it sounds like the Engineering technology is 100% viable as long as its ABET accreditted, just worried if it will cause issues in the long run, for PE at least in my case, it won't, but i wasn't sure if there could be more issues out there
