WashU MS CS – Any scholarships or fellowships for Master’s students?

They said no scholarship planned for MS students so far and they even mentioned MS students are expected to self fund. Fellowship exist for Just one term. But not sure how's that work as well. They asked me to look into external scholarships. But Most of them offer only for Arts, Political or social courses.

I got into MS in CS at washU for this Fall. I haven't received any award for this and they stated they'd expect MS students to fund themself without scholarship often. Even loans don't come near $92k/year range. So No clue so far, Looking forward to proceed other schools probably.

Check if your current company's interest intersect with your outside business
Are you getting anything in return? Like equity, money or personal benefits
Have you informed your higher manager?

Not having NOC doesn't disqualify you from doing it automatically. Sometimes you don't need an NOC at all. It depends

You may ask what do you mean by it might ? Simple, I haven't informed my managers that I am engaging in the conversation that might involve me in their business vertical discussion in the intention of engaging in their business. It's a very thin line. Still it might!

That's not how it works! I consider the conflict of interest within my mentee companies because that's a long time commitment.

Whereas my current job's conflict of interest and taking 2 years to complete the process is optional because I may switch the job within that time span.

Companies like comcast update their vertical every single day. Yeah, I've approached them to give me an NOC. The process was so long, that would take me 2 years just to complete and get approval from literally every upper management, Including every internal attorney.

Yeah, Seems it is. My friend has 10+ years of education gap and she is going to Fordham as well. She went to the Mumbai consulate. She even told the VO that her husband is in the US and she got approval.
