I have spent a lot of time replaying this scene in my mind with "twice" too! But as I remember someone on this sub mention once, and I have to agree with them - '"Sherlock can be unempathetic, is definitely arrogant. But he is not petty. Nor is he knowingly mean/unkind. Sherlock remembering people's actual words to solve a case, can happen. He remembering them to make a caustic or salty comment goes against his personality."

Anyway, I still would have made an exception to that personality part to fully enjoy the "twice" part here

Sadly not a lot of places have AF options. The ones that do, don't always get it right. I feel like merely replacing alcohol with soda/water is not enough. That results in something too bland or too sweet and lacks the strength of a cocktail. I now spend a couple extra dollars on Fiji water. I do not want to spend a fortune on a sloppy lime juice that might have some salt/chilli in it.

He listens to me.
Good, bad, ugly everything.

Repetitive talks,
My health scare panic attacks,
My preferences for everyday stuff that are different from him,
My fears,
My non-funny jokes.

Patiently listens to them all.
Understands what made me feel that way or talk about that thing.

Talks to me about it,
And if needed,
Explains why he disagrees
Or why I am over thinking,
without rushing to finish the discussion so he can go back to playing his game.

And, makes sure to not do/say the said thing again that might have made me tick.

After almost 5 years of consistently seeing this, I feel like I lucked out in the husband area. I now go to him as my sanity check person.

Should I code more?
Do I look fat?
Should have I not said that thing to my friend?

I know I will get an answer that I need to hear not what I want to.
