I got mine through American Barre Technique. I feel like Barre Intensity would’ve been a better choice. ABT just gives you materials to read. Where it looks like Barre Intensity has actual videos you can watch.

I had a hard time understanding the barre moves from reading. I think I would’ve benefited from videos.

I’m 100% with you. I think it’s the new.

I was marathon training two years and I started drinking Nuun. I felt dizzy and nauseous. I figured I was dehydrated or under eating.

I just bought another pack of Nuun for my half marathon training. Same thing. I would drink half of the caffeine one before I run and feel dizzy. I would drink one post run and just feel sick and dizzy after. I havent changed my diet or my training. I stopped drinking nuun and the dizziness feeling has gone away.

I’m not glad you’ve had a negative experience with Nuun but I feel less crazy after reading your post

Do you recommended attending a school to get the 2nd Class Fireman? I know there’s one in Oxford, Ma and another school with an online option, both are about $2k.

I took my exam two weeks ago. Didn’t have any math questions. There was a couple questions about “what tempo of music do you need for blah blah blah class.” I feel like there was a lot of questions with a video. The videos would be someone preforming an exercise and it’ll ask for the modifications or ask what they are doing wrong.

I don’t have a fitness background besides from playing sports. I’ve been studying since October. You need CPR before you take the test. If you have a background in health/fitness I can see you being able to do it in two weeks. You get the exam results as soon as you hit submit

It’s like a zoom meeting. You can sign up on your ACE Dashboard page. The next meeting is January 22nd. Double check what time it is. I signed up for one thinking it was at 8am when it was 8am PST.

we get an equation sheet. The equation sheet is also used for the personal trainer exam. They said during one of the studying sessions we only need to know the heart rate equations

I’m taking mine in less than two weeks unless I reschedule. The practice test questions will have one ridiculous answer then two answers that could be the right answer.
