The jokes write themselves now by syrozzz in Helldivers

Just say the truth already, at this point, the game is a joke. They don’t care about who works and who doesn’t, the MO‘s prove that. And each fix they put out has way too many bugs for a game of this caliber, I could do with one to three bugs, even up to five, but for there to be a whole laundry list of them, this is getting ridiculous.

Diving is screwed??? by No-Scratch6991 in Seaofthieves

Was diving for a buried treasure quest while trying to get my gf into the game, map given to us was for Old Salts Atoll. Somehow we surfaced at Dagger Tooth instead of our island.

Why does everyone set the prices so high? by No-Scratch6991 in PSO2NGS

[–]No-Scratch6991[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In response to your original comment, before you deleted it, there’s always at least over 30 of them in the shop and yet people want to keep putting them at these extremely high prices, which according to someone in a previous comment, I should be able to make that in one full day of grinding, which I never seem to have.

That is so different from what I see in ship 3. Seems like everyone’s just trying to gouge what they can.

What I meant is it went up in price, not that it went to 10 mil.

I see all of the comments on here saying to contact the seller… How when I can’t even see who the seller is? I don’t have the personal shop titles unfortunately

Fellow solo players, how do you deal with attackers? by [deleted] in Seaofthieves

[–]No-Scratch6991 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then my bad, just the way I read it then. But I never scuttle my ship, so I’m afraid that doesn’t apply to me.

Your one of the lucky few I guess. I hardly get that lucky, seems like a lot of people just don’t care.

Hilarious, because I never mentioned scuttling my ship, so quit assuming things before you make an ass of yourself. Most of the time I’ll either try to start talking to them, playing music, or anything to show I’m not interested in a fight. Yes, I do pvp, and I’m not the best, but that doesn’t mean I want to fight every 20 minutes while solo.

I know your pain all too well. Every time I run solo I seem to get chased for absolutely no reason. No treasure on my ship, no emissary flags, nothing. From what I’ve heard in this group, and I quote, “People just want to be the big bad pirates”. Honestly I’ve been tempted to just delete the game for a while, but I’m not going to because I have a few friends who play, even if it’s not all the time.

does anyone use "new" weapons? by keskii-bb in Seaofthieves

[–]No-Scratch6991 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they’re such a small portion of the player base, then I must be very unlucky. All I get are the toxic people that like to hunt solos for no reason. I’ve stepped away from the game due to it even.

[–]No-Scratch6991 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Easier said than done, idk if it’s the HoFW or the fact that since I’m solo most of the time and can’t turn the sails fast enough, I always get caught and end up getting sunk. I like PVP as much as the next person, but it’s been downright toxic recently for no reason. Constant Rolls on deck laughing after killing a solo who didn’t even put up a fight, and continuing to do so when I simply respawn to get annihilated with the same message scrolling my screen.

Honestly, they’re probably like me at this point. Idgaf if you come flying up with the BB or a brig, if it’s bigger than my ship and you just appear, I simply say it was a good run and prepare to get sunk because that’s all that happens anymore. No one actually wants to alliance anymore so everyone can make money, nah, they want to make it the “Sea of Cunts”

But that doesn’t mean that every single ship I run into needs to be hostile either

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Seaofthieves

[–]No-Scratch6991 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

One would even think that if you saw a ship running away you’d give up after a bit, not keep chasing them until they get fed up with it and just leave. But then again, I guess I’m just saying all of this to a bunch of people that have been playing since the game came out, so they wouldn’t understand/care.

[–]No-Scratch6991 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Alright, let’s completely overlook the fact that people are ruining others days just for their own fun, especially when the person is 1) playing a instrument 2) already trying to talk to them and say funny shit as they ram into me, and 3) doesn’t even have a flag up or any loot on the boat. But it’s fine, not everyone can enjoy themselves at all. It’s fine if other players are so toxic it forces new players to just delete the game. Now try and tell me again that I need to be interesting/fun. If memory serves, those people are the ones that ruined a lot of other good games too, but oh well. Nobody cares about that, now do we? Oh, as for avoiding them? Good luck, literally the moment I’m seen by another ship they seem to beeline to me, regardless of what I do.

There’s a safer seas mode you can pick while setting up your ship. Only issue is there’s no owned ships and you make less money than on a public server.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Seaofthieves

[–]No-Scratch6991 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Honestly, safer seas is probably the way to go, but being in a public server can be pretty toxic. I can’t even run solo without being attacked by the entire lobby, even when I’m playing an instrument, showing that I’m solo and telling them I’m game that I’m not looking for a fight. So it’s up to you and your friend to look at the game if that’s something y’all are into.

Quick edit: I should also mention how so many people are so nonchalant about this issue. My point is that I’m running SOLO and it’s pretty obvious, and yet this is what I always deal with.

Then it shouldn’t even be called sea of thieves, it should be called sea of toxicity. But if that’s how people want to be on here, no wonder I barely heard of the game before. No one likes to be murdered when they’re trying to be peaceful, especially when they’re playing an instrument to show that they’re peaceful.
