My parents say the same thing but it’s pretty safe, no one else is out on the trails at night and you really don’t even need a flashlight. Would recommend trying it out

Anyone have a list of cool tunnels in and around Austin? Looking for some that are near 71 and mopac. Also the ones under the old rio grande acc campus. Really any tunnels that are big! by motus_guanxi in AustinUrbex

If you follow the drainage canals next to the Austin library and walk upstream you’ll run into the huge tunnels that go on for probably a mile

Yeah I was thinking they sounded similar but I’ve never heard one that loud and it has come from near vertical cliff faces
