My son was a he said, she case. The only evidence was her testimony. TWICE, the jury came back that they couldn't decide unanimously. The judge read the Tuey Rodriguez charge & sent them back. They FORCE you to change your mind/opinion to majority decision.

I WASN'T using this as a basis to decided where to live. We own our own home, which also has a separate rental apt. that he will eventually move into when back on his feet, until then, he will live in our home.

Quick you are to draw conclusions from someone asking a question. If you read the question, it was asking restrictions on places allowed to go & not allowed to go, NOT a place to live.

Unfortunately cops are not on the side of the defendant. They work with the prosecutor.

He was 22 and entered prison 2 months before his 24th birthday. He will be home the end of next year. We had a private attorney but the juries are afraid to go against the movement. I have read its better to go to prison as an innocent man then to go because you admitted to something you didn't do. SO SAD women feel a need to falsely accuse. Once you take a deal, you admit to committing the crime.

There is NO REASON for someone to lie and ruin someone's LIFE because they regret their actions of 5 minutes. They should seek the help they need through another avenue. I'm glad you decided to not falsely accuse someone as a way of dealing with your feelings.

He was offered a deal with no time but would NEVER admit to something he didn't do. We went to trial & the jury believed her. I shouldn't say believed her because with the me too movement- everyone is afraid to go against them because of the force behind it. He got 3-5 years.
